Mirrabooka Rink Ice Skating

http://www.perthfurs.net/?t=1483 Saturday 25th august, 1PM there'll be fuzzy ice skating happening, for any interested in coming along.
Let's take attendance.
Who checks back here (LJ) and how often do you do so?
Not sure if I should ask the same at Perthfurs... or just try to blend them together.. or what. Pretty sure we've only a very small percentage of the local community still on LJ.
Let me know in the comments! I'll be checking back in a week or so to see.

Open meet!

From 6pm onward tomorrow, Tuesday July 19th there is an open-to-all meet at the Oxford Hotel. Come meet Bastett before he goes back to London (he flies out on Wednesday, so this is your last chance to do so!) and Cyrin (who is also going overseas soon) and spend time with other furries. This is a great chance for newer furries to get vouched on perthfurs.net.
Bring a bit of money so you can grab dinner and drinks. Please keep in mind that the location of the meet is a bar, so this meet is restricted to 18+. Thanks :}

City Meet, Dual Picnic

Hi guys finally figured out my password again.
^ u^

This Friday 8th is another popular City Meet going at the usual location.
Start time is 5pm at Borders on Hay Street, in the CBD. We'll likely hang around a little while before window-shopping and grabbing dinner at the Carrillion food court :} Mostly this is just to catch up and chat face-to-face and hang out, a low budget way for the less-wealthy furries "cheap ass furfags" to socialise. Generally it goes from 5pm-9pm, when shops close, but some might leave earlier because of transport.
Neither Muchi nor I are currently in any position to invite anyone home afterward I'm afraid, however those who want to continue the night could just do so in Northbridge if they so please.

The second meet is set for Saturday 9th at the Stirling Civic Gardens near Stirling station.
The start time for this one is 10am till around 4pm we dont have to eat but if you want to bring stuff, remember try not to bring junk food. drinks food to cook bread usually works for everyone.

You'll find if you all bring a 1.25 drink (coles, cheap, tasty) as well as bread and stuff to put in them it'll be cool. but thats if you want to eat anything. ^_^
I suggest checking the weather if you bring meat to cook. in case its pouring down and the bbq is useless.

Guess what.
Another city meet. Hopefully this time it won't be raining.
People, these meets have no real activity to them other than socialising. That may be boring to some, but some others just like to spend time chatting to others. I understand being shy, but you'll likely have more fun if you open up!
Same time and place for meet-up, Borders/Gloria Jeans on Hay St at 5pm. Will only hang around for people who tell me they're attending.
Another open meet! If you're a new furry looking to meet people, this is the way to do so.
I'll probably be bringing a sketchbook for those interested in getting/organising a commission in person.
If you have suggestions for what we could do aside from window-shop and wander, feel free to make them ^^ I'm not sure when Empire Toys is open until, but we could go there. Everyone loves toys lol.
If it does look rainy, might I suggest a water-proof coat?
Hopefully the weather will get better soon and I can start organising picnics again.

Look forward to hearing from you :}

PPS. SO YEAH it'll be Friday, on the first day of June of 2011, at 1700hrs aka 5pm, under a new moon, MEEKO. lol

City Meet!

Jack and I are organising a city meet for Friday the 24th! That's this Friday :}
Start time is 5pm at Borders on Hay Street, in the CBD. We'll likely hang around a little while before window-shopping and grabbing dinner at the Carrillion food court :} Mostly this is just to catch up and chat face-to-face and hang out, a low budget way for the less-wealthy furries to socialise. Generally it goes from 5pm-9pm, when shops close.
Neither Jack nor I are currently in any position to invite anyone home afterward I'm afraid, however those who want to continue the night could just do so in Northbridge if they so please.

Don't invite any banned furries - we don't need their negativity. Apart from that, this is an open post for a reason! If you're not yet vouched on perthfurs.net or here on PFM, this is a great opportunity to get to know some people.

Hope to see you then! Please let me know if you think you'll be attending.

Edit: Tape asked about dress - I'm alright with collars, but maybe no ears/tails please ^^

im hosting a BBQ at my house on the 26th any furs are welcome to attend if they can make it.
I would appreciate it if people can bring some stuff with them like extra meat or salad if anyone wants it or collapsable chairs if anyone can bring some.
The details of the address are on the Perthfurs site http://www.perthfurs.net/?t=925 otherwise contact me on 0433487591 for address.
People can start showing up between 11am and 12pm you may drink so long as you do it responsibly.
I'm also on the IRC between 7am and 11:30am every weekday if you need to talk to me.
You may stay for as long as you wish but we do not have enough space to accommodate people staying the night.

Peekneek.

Follow-up post and reminder for the picnic at Stirling Civic Gardens, Saturday Feb 5th at midday.

Google Maps link directing to the Stirling Civic Gardens.
Cedric St near Telford Crescent. Pretty large park - meeting up at the tables/chairs near the play equipment if those are free.

See comments section of the previous post for an idea what others may be bringing, and what you might be able to bring.

As of posting, the forecast for Saturday suggests it will be between 17-30 degrees so sunscreen, shades, hats etc. are probably a good idea if you burn easy. You should also try to bring water - soft drink and juice are nice but dehydrated furries are sad furries.

Please post if you still plan on attending.
If there's something I've forgotten, I apologise. I am not thinking terribly clearly right now. Thanks!
