I will upload a map in a few days with the reminder post. Thank you!

Saturday, February 5th at about 1200/midday I am planning a furry picnic and bbq.
As it's in public, please keep in mind you have to behave, and furry attire is probably not advisable as it will likely be warm.
I'd like to ask that people attending try to bring something to share for the bbq. If you can bring something, please post what you may be able to bring.

This meet is posted publicly, so new furries who've not had a chance to attend meets can attend this one and have a chance to be vouched on Perthfurs.net - try to be nice to the newbies!

I was planning for Kings Park however concerns about people getting lost in such a large park have been raised.
Other suggestions: Bardon Park, AP Hinds Park, Stirling Civic Gardens (five votes)
So, of those four please let me know which you prefer.

I will try to bring basic burger ingredients - rolls, burgers, sauce and MAYBE plates/napkins.
While snacks are nice, try to not just bring crisps/lollies. People will get sick if they eat too many! Drinks are always a good idea (and not just soft-drink... juice/water is better on a hot day) and it may be an idea to bring sunscreen, though I will have to check the weather closer to the date.

Any concerns? Just comment or catch me in #perthfurs IRC.
Please comment! The sooner I know which park people prefer and how many may attend, the sooner I can finalise the details!

Hello PerthFurMeets!

THIS IS AN OPEN POST. Don't post personal info here if you want to keep it personal.

It's been quite a while since a meet was organised and it's hard to tell who checks here - if you still check PFM for posts about meets, please reply here so I know if it will be worth my time to suggest more meet ideas now the weather is cooling down.

Honestly? I'm looking for another picnic. I really miss them. Picnic and a barbecue with everyone coming along bringing what they can. We rarely have one in Kings Park so that was the planned location.

So, if you're here put your hand up, let me know whether you'd like another meet soon. Cheers!

Weather is warming up so I figure it's time for a BBQ. I'm going to be heading down to the Claisebrook inlet, in particular Mardalup Park at lunch time on the 6th of November. Be good to see some other folks there. I'll be bringing a bunch of sausage and rolls, but feel free to bring your own food and drinks.

When: Saturday, 6th of November
Where: Mardalup Park, Claisebrook (see below)
Time: 12pm onwards

Well furs, it's that time of year again. The 4th bi-annual Perthfur Gathering (or "PFG") is set to take place at our regular venue - The Dianella Scout & Guide Hall - on October 9th, 2010. This is Perth's biggest furry event, drawing around 70 furs from Perth and regional WA. It's open to everyone, furs and furry-friendlies alike, and we'd love to see some interstate visitors again this time.

It's largely a freeform event where furs hang out and make their own fun, but there will be a number of activities held throughout the day including a group photo, BBQ dinner, inflatable toy races, a plushie fox hunt and more :)

As with the previous PFG, you can register your attendance online at http://gathering.perthfurs.net/ - and this time, we've introduced the option of up-front payment via PayPal. This is entirely optional, but doing so will help to take the risk out of organising the event and, even better, it gets you a printed badge with your name, species and avatar.

There are less than 25 days to go, and RSVPs are now open. So, if you can make it this time 'round, we'd love to see you there!

It's just a little over three weeks until Bugs Bunny at the Symphony, and I still have three tickets left that need buyers. If anyone else wants to join me, my sister, craskwolfred_tfox and vulpyra for what promises to be a truly amazing show, please let me know as soon as possible.

I'll be waiting until Monday, the 17th of May before putting whatever's left of the final three tickets up for public sale elsewhere.

The show is on at 6:30PM on Saturday, the 29th of May at the Burswood Theatre and the tickets are $79.90 each.

Bugs Bunny at the Symphony: Update

I just got an e-mail from Burswood informing me of a slight change. The show is still on the same date (Saturday, May 29th), but the performance now starts at 6:30PM instead of 8:00PM.

On a related note: There are still 3 tickets that need buyers ($79.90 each), so be sure to contact me if you're interested.

My birthday

Okay well I seem to have gotten enough interest in having a party at Mawson park in Hillarys to have a BBQ/picnic.

Date: 3rd of April (saturday)
Time: noon until 5PM and if people want they are welcome to come back to my place if they want to stay longer.
Where: I have decided on Mawson park maps.google.com.au/maps/place because it's close to Whitfords shopping center and a smaller place with a Coles and a deli we will meet at the western-most side.

Bring along some food if you can.
Please comment if you are available so I know who to expect.

I will update this as necessary so everyone can see what has changed.
Hope to see as many of you there as possible!

PFG Carnivore's Picnic

Just a reminder that the PFG Carnivore's Picnic is today at 3pm. The location is Bardon Park, Maylands. Check out the website at http://gathering.perthfurs.net/ for more info!

PFG3: RSVPs closing soon!

This is just a friendly reminder that RSVPs and badge pic submissions for the PFG are closing on Monday, 22nd February at midday. You will not be able to get a customised badge if you miss out. Don't worry though, you can still show up on the day and enjoy the festive furry fun :)

So hurry on over to http://gathering.perthfurs.net/ and RSVP!
